Patient Service Representative: Pre-health Training

A great first step into the Healthcare Field!

Course Description

This 16 week training is designed to give participants an introduction to the healthcare field and specific training needed to become a Patient Service Representative. This training is being offered in conjunction with Northern Light Health who will provide information on their job openings, how to apply and an opportunity for an interview.

The course provides a brief introduction to:

• Medical Terminology

• Business Operations of a medical office

• Medical Ethics

• Medical Law

• Medical Billing

The course is self-paced but designed to take about 16 weeks to complete. Course starts May 3rd and must be completed by August 31st, 2022

The course is online with in person support as needed.
